Heatwave
The city of Geneva has implemented a plan to combat the heat wave. On the map below, you can find all places where it is possible to cool down, namely including:
- Misters (micro-oasis, brumisateurs)
- Shaded areas (ombrage)
- Places to swim in the lake and in the Rhône river (baignade naturelle)
- Kids swimming pools (pataugeoires) are open access children swimming pools usually located in parks
Note that the Ethnography museum also has free exhibitions in the context of the heatwave plan, and it is 5 minutes away from the conference venue (plus it is beautiful museum!) .
